Daniel K. Hicks, J.D.
Daniel K. Hicks concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business, and tax exempt organizations.
Mr. Hicks received his B.A., magna cum laude, and his M.A. from Bob Jones University. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Mr. Hicks provides estate planning and tax advice to clients in North Carolina and South Carolina in a number of areas, including trusts, buy-sell agreements, charitable trusts, limited liability companies (LLC’s) or family limited partnerships, family business succession and income and estate taxation of trusts and estates. Mr. Hicks also advises a large number of tax exempt organizations on formation issues (both for public charities and private foundations), gift annuity compliance and matters before the IRS.
